This site was originally created as a secret reference source for survivors to consult following a major war or disaster.
Having discovered it by accident when browsing I thought the survivors might like to remember what life was like in the Shires of middle-England before the Third and Last Great War. So I wiped all that other stuff out about sticking brown paper to your windows with urine and where the secret food stockpiles are and now I put items from the news or media reviews on here. Whether you are hiding from aliens, Arnold Schwarzeneger or each other I hope these few pages help you lucky survivors to pass the time.
Me? I went and sat in a bunker with a picnic, naked, my walk-man playing Bach and smoked a packet of Rothmans.
